I have an open and friendly approach to working with people to allow them to unlock their potential through creative learning.  I have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and enjoy working to challenge preconceived ideas about individuals, communities and learning.

I have worked on a wide range of community based arts projects with outcomes ranging from painted welcome mats to large scale textile pieces for public spaces.  The people I have worked with have ranged from a women’s group, people with mental health problems, physical, hearing or visual disabilities or serious illness, social excluded young people and secondary, junior and primary school pupils.  Locations have been as diverse as isolation wards in hospital, a remand centre, a wood and a tent.
